How to Make Naturally-Scented Air Fresheners?
If you want your car to smell amazing, you have come to the right place. Our expert car detailers share with you today how to make naturally-scented air fresheners for your vehicle.
This is one of the easiest methods to make your car smell good. You will need clay discs that you can find at any craft or kitchen specialty store and essential oils of your choice. Drop ten drops of oil onto the clay disc and allow it to absorb before placing it in your vehicle.
Gab a clothespin (or several), essential oils, and a plastic Ziploc bag. Put seven drops of your favorite essential oil onto the clothespin. Then, place it into the Ziploc bag and seal the bag. You can do this with several clothespins and store them in the bag until you need to replace the old one.
Clip your new air freshener onto the air vents. Then, enjoy the scent when using the Air Conditioner or heat function in your car.
Half-Pint Mason Jar
This air freshener requires baking soda, essential oils, a piece of cardboard, half-pint mason jar, scissors or craft knife, and a thumbtack.
Fill the jar 2/3 with baking soda, then add about thirty drops of your favorite essential oil. Next, put the lid on the jar and shake well. Remove the lid. Now, you are going to create a circle with the piece of cardboard. Use the flat disk as a guide to draw the circle and then cut it using a sharp craft knife or scissors. Place the circular piece on top of the mason jar and secure it with the ring part of the lid. Finally, with the thumbtack poke several holes in the cardboard lid.
Now you are ready to place the jar in a cup holder in your car or stow it under a seat.
