Cleaning Your Car Inside and Out
Keeping your vehicle in good conditions can be a tedious task, and frequently, car owners tend to overlook some areas such as the dashboard and the undercarriage. When you set out to do the job, don’t forget to clean the following places:
Knobs and buttons on the dashboard collect dirt and dust over time. Use a damp rag to wipe the larger surfaces, and then with a toothbrush get into some of the areas that are hard to access.
The Air Vents
This is an easily overlooked spot. With the help of an inexpensive paint brush sprayed with some furniture polish, you can get in between the air vents. The furniture polish will grab most of the dust particles that get stuck in there, and it will also protect it.
This is the place closest to the ground, and very easy to overlook because we do not see it. This area collects tons of dirt and grime, and when you let them sit for a long time, it can make your car deteriorate faster. Use a hose with a pressure nozzle to wash off the contaminants and a degreaser to help remove it.
The Engine Bay
When you clean your ride, don’t forget to look under the hood. Keeping the engine bay clean helps make sure excess grease and dirt don’t build up around the parts, which prevents them from operating correctly. You will need an engine cleaner and a soft-bristled detailing brush to clean the nooks and crannies. Make sure you cover the sensitive parts, so they don’t get wet, such as the alternator and the fuse box. Once the pieces are clean, use a microfiber cloth to dry everything off.
